So, here's my take on the BelBel relationship (that's not canon, alas) in Return to Eden ([link]) by ::.

Let me explain, ne? This is info that's in the character profiles, so I don't think they're spoilers...

*takes a breath*

Beleth, the dark-haired one in front, is a dream-walker, but since he only has one white eye, the people whose dreams he visits cannot remember the dream they had while he was there, nor the fact that he was there, at all. If he had two white eyes, they'd be able to remember...

So, Beleth's been through a lot of shit in the comic, before the current timeline and now, too, and, well, he seems like the type of character who's always suffering alone. The one person whom he seems to be the most open with is his old (childhood?) friend Belphegor (who is the one behind him), but even with him, he seems not completely open.

Belphegor, who appears much more open with other people than Beleth, also has a lot of emotional baggage that he doesn't seem to tell anybody, but Beleth seems to have a deep understanding of him that Belphegor seems to value highly. But, Belphegor seems the type who would want to understand Beleth and reciprocate the comfort that Beleth gives to him in same. Indeed, he seems the type who would -need- to comfort Beleth in return so much so that it would tear at him that he couldn't, despite how close they were.
So, yeah... That's what that little bit of prose in the pic comes from. And, the pic, too, I guess.

So, yeah... That's my take on BelBel. Oh, and hey! My second shonen-ai pic in my gallery! It's about time.

BTW, Miru-sama, no wonder you don't draw them with their wings out more often. Damn, Belphy's wings were tiresome to draw. *passes out* Also, I'm thinking about coloring this... Not sure, I kinda like the black and white effect... What do you think? ^_^
