So, after a year of silence, I went and updated three new pictures in the last... two days... With more to come, once a get a camera to take pictures of some of the bigger and more sensitive pieces I've done while I was gone...

I think this calls for a new journal entry, don't you?

I'm not in Okinawa, anymore. *moment of silence* I'm now in Washington, D.C., where it is far too cold for July, if you ask me. Far too cold. But, alas... I'm here, so I might as well buy some jackets, ne? NE? O.O

So, what have I been up to, you say? Well... Work's been on and off, I just had a second surgery on my wrist, back in May, and I just recovered from a case of the (swine?) flu that had me stuck in bed for almost two weeks... Other than that, well, not much, really. I've been doing a bit of writing, but nothing really to write home about. I've got a few random sketches, here and there, been practicing doing backgrounds... But, not much in the way of any real artistic endeavor to speak of, not since I moved back to the states. I'll admit, I left most of my inspiration back in Okinawa, and things here haven't been the most conducive towards creativity... >.>...

I still have a bunch of stuff left over from after my computer died in Okinawa, and now that I have my scanner back, I'll be uploading those first chance I get to sit down and scan them in. And, I have the last four pages of chapter three of Crossroads (still textless, alas... I don't have a program to add the text in, at the moment...) AND I've since then finished chapter four, not to mention a chapter way off in the future that just wouldn't get out of my head until I drew it... O.o... I'm cheating and doing the whole thing in ballpoint and writing in the text, manually, because I'm lazy, so yeah. At least it's getting done, ne?

Other than that, I just finished a nice (imho) still life pastel piece that I plan to get framed and give to a friend as a housewarming gift, so when I get a pic of that taken, I'll post it and brag some more. ^_^
